I know that some of us enjoy looking at and collecting various automotive brochures. They are a great way to reminisce on the vehicles that we owned or wanted to own, and serve as an interesting perspective of the era those vehicles were sold.
I've been enjoying collecting brochures for the last ~14 years or so, and I figure it would be interesting to share some of my collection with all of you. At the moment, I'm thinking of turning this into a roughly weekly series. Each time, I would focus on one brochure picked at random from my collection. I'll try to get a good mix of older and newer brochures, so that there is something for everyone. Some brochures will feature more prestigious vehicles than others, but none should be boring.
Does this sound like something that would be interesting? I already have an idea for the first subject of this series.
Also, I'm looking for suggestions on capturing these brochures. Most of them are too big for a traditional flatbed scanner, so I've been using my Nikon D3100 on a tripod. The results are decent, but there is room for improvement.

I have several boxes full of brochures at my mom's house that I'd love to digitize if I had the time and patience.
